Open Question: So when are we going to get rid of the current broadband speed and get into lightning speed?

I mean something like Verizon's FIOS, or something that's light years ahead of the current crappy broadband speed. It's time. I've had DSL for 11 years now. It's NOT fast. It's faster than 56k, but c'mon, with the pc's getting faster and faster, the internet service should be right behind. I heard of WIMAX about 5 years ago. They said you can download a blu ray movie in a few minutes with it. WHERE IS IT?!?!?! I am at 10 MBPS, and this is turtle speed. I should be able to download a DVD movie in a minute or two.
