Resolved Question: HOW DO I GET WLAN OF MY COMPUTER SCREEN?

I don't know much about computers but there is the stupid thing on my screen that won't go away! When I play games, it is on the corner. When I watch videos on YouTube, it is still there. It is a rectangle. It has two pictures on it. One is of a cell tower and it says WLAN. There is one to the right and it is a pic of Saturn I think but I'm not sure. It says WiMAX. IT WON'T LEVEE.
